UK Hospitality Union (UKHU) is rooted in decades of real experience across the hospitality sector. We understand the pressures behind the smiles: long shifts, late finishes, unpredictable hours and the expectation to keep serving, whatever may be happening behind the scenes.

Our members work across restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars, kitchens, catering services and beyond. They are the people whose skill and hard work keep Britain’s hospitality industry running, yet their contribution is too often undervalued and their voices ignored. UKHU exists to change that.

Workplace representation is at the heart of our union. When members face disciplinary action, grievances, disputes, harassment, unsafe conditions or unfair treatment, they do not have to face their employer alone. We provide informed, practical and personal support, grounded in a genuine understanding of the realities of hospitality work.
